I emailed Mr. Elsey today and asked if I could tell his story and give a link to his website. He emailed me and said great. He emailed me a brief overview of Soles4Souls™

Thank you Mr. Elsey. One person. After the 2004 Tsunami hit southeast Asia and Wayne Elsey saw a lone shoe drift up on the beach. He was moved to action. He made phone calls to executives of footwear industries. Because of these phone calls he received 1/4 million pairs of shoes to help with the tsunami victims. Today? 3.4 million pairs of shoes given to those in need. Truly amazing. What an amazing person, and a great example.
Soles4Souls accept donations of all kinds. A very simple way to contribute is to donate your new or gently used shoes to one of the many drop off locations.
